June 26, 2013 The town of Mount Pleasant and WEZL 103.5 FM teamed up throughout the month of June to bring free concerts featuring national country music artists to Mount Pleasant Memorial Waterfront Park every Tuesday. The finale show featured Easton Corbin, Maggie Rose and Brady Smith. In 2010, Corbin became the first male country artist in 17 years to have his first two consecutive singles, “A Little More Country Than That” and “Roll With It,” reach No. 1. Later that same year, he won three American Country Awards, and Billboard magazine named him the Top New Country Artist of 2010. He brought his No. 1 hits and new music to the show. Rose, a one-time Clemson University student, left to pursue music in Nashville, Tenn. Originally from Potomac, Md., she performed her hits “I Ain’t Your Mama” and “Better.” In addition to the music, the event featured food and beer vendors.
